Sometimes You Just Need To JUMP!


80 Day Obsession Pre-Workout Meal

My kid just asked me, “so, you’re one of THOSE people now? - who post pics of their food?!” It was actually more of an accusation than a question. But I still responded... “yes, yes I am, for this next season”. Today is my 2nd 🤦🏻‍♀️ 1st day of #80dayobsession. [side story: I first started it a few weeks ago before two vacations and all the food and tight hotel living - fail]. Over the last 8+ years hubs and I have had *fun* following various Beachbody programs like P90X, Insanity and 21 Day Fix but I never really looked for support outside of Dave, told anyone what I was doing (if I’m honest, I was too embarrassed), took before photos, or drank the kool-aid (errr, I mean Shakeology); but I did the workouts, mostly followed the food requirements and ALWAYS saw results (some better than others). For a million different reasons this go around feels different. I don’t want to do this on my own. I want to share my ups, downs, struggles, successes and lots of the mushy details in-between because that’s where the REAL STUFF happens. Where we stop pretending and let love and life invade our being, where grace abounds and we give ourselves permission to find our voice and sing! No, this is not JUST about an 80 day workout and meal tracking program - it’s about leaning into being the healthiest version of myself as a woman, mom, wife, creative, business owner, christian, foodie, etc. and this somehow became my jumping off point.
